TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Check in – Check out. Check in time is 2 pm and check out time is 11 am. Late check out can be arranged on the day of departure subject to new guest arrivals at no extra charge.

Bookings are payable:
50% deposit if the check in date if beyond 45 days
Balance or 100% if the check in date is 45 days or less.

Cancellations and refund:
FULL refund for any cancellation made 91 days before check in
50% refund for any cancellation made 31 days prior arrival
No refund for any cancellation made within 30 days prior arrival

Concierge Services. Our Villa Manager will gladly help you to make the most of your stay. He can recommend places of interest, restaurants, beaches, surf spots, entertainment options and organise some bookings for you including your boat transfers. Please contact us for advance dive bookings, and boat transfers

Damages, Losses and Breakages 
Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses caused during the period of their stay. Villa Lotus reserves the right to reclaim the hired property and claim for damages, if the hirer, members of the guest party or guest’s visitors causes excessive damage noise, mess or any unlawful activity.

Personal Insurance 
Villa Lotus recommends that you and your guests take out a comprehensive travel, medical and accident insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.

Liabilities and Disclaimers 
Please be advised that Villas Lotus nor any of its employees or representatives is responsible for:
– Any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay at our villa or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Nusa Lembongan.
– Any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, nature or governments, newly imposed regulations, or the failure of any machinery, equipment or structure.
– Personal injuries or loss of life, intoxication of any kind, any consequences of lack of supervision or common sense, occurred at Villa Lotus or external venues, tours, facilities or locations which may or may not have been recommended by Villa Lotus.

Villa Lotus does not allow:
-Possession of firearms or weapons of any kind on the Villa grounds under any circumstances.
-The use of drugs or any other illegal substances
– Immoral Acts, including prostitution and related behaviour as described by the laws of Indonesia
– Villa Lotus reserves the right to request police assistance in the matters mentioned above or any other matter that are deemed suspicious or against local (Banjar) and Government regulations

Acceptance
 By placing and confirming a reservation at Villa Lotus, guests automatically acknowledge that they have understood and accepted the terms and conditions.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Housekeeping. 
All bedrooms are made up daily and linen and towels every 3rd day. Please leave the bed sheets and towels on the floor only if you want them changed. The housekeeper is scheduled from 7 am to 3 pm. Would you want privacy, just let the manager know.

Insurances. We strongly recommend that guests take out travel, medical and accident insurance coverage. Villa Lotus does not provide lifeguards or child supervision. We decline all responsibility for any harm or loss occurred at Villa Lotus during your stay.

Laundry. There is a basket in each bathroom. Please advise the manager if you would like us to arrange for your laundry. Allow 24 hours. Express service is also available at extra cost

Money. There is only one ATM in Nusa Lembongan Island. It is located close to the beach, near Rocky Office. It is often out of order (generally lasts more than 24 hours). Alternatively, you can withdraw money with your card at Radhya Homestay, across the street or in the few moneychangers in the village. 

Noise. Nusa Lembongan is a quiet Island. Noise and music stops at 10 pm. That is how locals want it. They enforce this rule. If watching a movie, please turn down the sound after 10 PM.

Power. Power cuts are frequent in Nusa Lembongan. They can last a few hours and are more frequent in peak season (July- August). There is simply not enough power for the growing population. Villa Lotus is equipped with a manual generator. Please contact the manager who will start it for you (and turn it off when the power is back).

Safety Box. There is a safety box in rooms 2 and 3.

Security. All the villa staff is trained to observe the well being of our guests. We recommend that all valuables and cash be kept in the safe provided. We do not accept responsibility for personal belongings. All guest rooms can be individually locked. Please lock the main gate at night or when the house is unattended. Otherwise Nusa Lembongan is a very safe destination.

Swimming pool. The pool is maintained every second day.
Please strictly no glass in or around the pool. Plastic tumblers are provided. Any glass breakages will result in pool drainage. Glass is invisible in water and we will have to implement this procedure for your own safety. This is a costly and time-consuming process worn by the guests. All the costs associated included the cancellation of the following guests will be charged to you.

Smoking. The bedrooms are strictly non-smoking. You are free to smoke anywhere else in the house in the open common areas. Please use the ashtrays provided.

Telephone A courtesy mobile phone is available in the villa for your calls to the manager, restaurant bookings, in house masseuse and emergencies.

Tips and Gratuity 
We do not include any service charge in the booking prices. Should you like to leave a gratuity as appreciation to the service, please do so through the Villa Manager, who will share it amongst the team.

Transport on the island. 
Our Villa Manager can assist you with scooter or buggy rentals.

Most activities are walking distance from the Villa. Some restaurants offer a complimentary shuttle service.

Toilets . We use a Bio Septic tank for the toilet. This allows us to waste only clean grey water back to the underground village natural supply. PLEASE do not throw anything else in the toilets than toilet paper. Anything else should be disposed in the basket. 

Water. Villa Lotus offers FILTERED SAFE water at the tap – pretty exceptional in Nusa Lembongan where water is high in calcium and salt. Please use wisely as ever drop counts.

For extra safety, there is a drinkable water fountain with hot and cold water at your disposal in the kitchen. Water in gallons is much cheaper and better for the environment than bottled water. Feel free to refill you drinking bottle to the fountain.

Wi-fi is available at no charge.

Wifi speed can be unstable in Lembongan. If you notice a low speed, mention it to the manager.
