“An Oasis in the middle of Lembongan! This Villa was truly luxurious. I believe it is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated to the smallest detail, very functional and spacious (my husband thought we were in some sort of lobby area before finding out the villa was all ours!). It has all the modern amenities you will need and it even comes with a fully stocked minibar with honest costs. Large comfortable beds, air con, fans, plenty of towels, wardrobes…. The large open bathroom was gorgeous. Lovely pool with sun all day and lots of spaces to lounge around. The staff (Wayan and Dani) welcomed us with a fruit platter and big smiles – and helped us throughout our stay with tips and making bookings for everything we needed (snorkeling, in villa massage, taxi, buggy rental,etc). They actually helped us even before we arrived by booking our boat transfer to Lembongan. They come in everyday to clean and maintain the villa, and are very unobtrusive, respecting your privacy. The location is perfect, on a main street with lots of little shops and restaurants just outside your door, but once you walk in the villa you won’t even notice you are in a central area – as it is so quiet and serene inside. “Villa Lotus is just as described. The villa, pool and gardens are very clean and well maintained and close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We were greeted on arrival by Wayan and Dani who in addition to cleaning and maintaining the villa daily, went out of their way to help us make the most of our holiday – booking snorkelling trips and transport. Julie, our host, organised our car and boat transfers from our hotel in Seminyak to Nusa Lembongan and then to the airport which was fabulous and went without a hitch. “We wished we had booked for longer in this amazing villa. Best location close to some great restaurants. The villa itself was even better in real life! Three great bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms. Full size kitchen and huge living area, all spotlessly clean and comfortable. Pool was the best to come back to after a long day exploring this beautiful island. Dani can arrange scooters and Martin and Julie are the easiest to communicate with. Martin booked a snorkel and swim with the Manta rays for us which was unforgettable. “Villa Lotus is an amazing villa on Nusa Lembongan in Indonesia, it’s a little paradise! Situated right in the middle of Jungut Batu, close to great restaurants, little shops, spas and a short walk to the beach, it is the perfect place for a family holiday or with friends. You can stay at the villa and relax by the pool, have food made for you or make it yourself with local ingredients or spend the day on the beach nearby and eat out at many great restaurants. This villa has something for everyone! The hosts are great and very friendly and easy to deal with and the housekeeper and gardener are lovely people. The house is kept nice and clean at all times, the pool and garden is amazing, like a little oasis. The bedrooms have air cons and the rest of the house is open with fans, which is perfect for Indonesia. We didn’t have any problems with mosquitoes and it is lovely spending time in the open living room overlooking the pool and garden. And it even has drinkable water from the tap because of a filter! And if you don’t want to drink that water, there is a unit with hot and cold water that takes the big 10L bottles of water. Perfect! “Après un excellent séjour à Bali quelques jours dans ce coin de paradis loin du bruit et de la circulation pour se ressourcer avant de retourner au travail . Une superbe villa où dés l’entrée après avoir passé la belle porte le passage sur le caillebotis au fil de l’eau nous donne le ton de la zenitude et du fenchui de la maison. Les très grandes chambres climatisées avec salle de bain ouvertes sur la verdure typiques de Bali ,face à la piscine .Une pergola ombragée pour profiter de ce confort sans parler de l’immense coin jour salon salle à manger et cuisine à l’américaine ouverts eux aussi sur la piscine Au confort de la villa s’ajoute les facilités de petit déjeuner et repas de l’autre côté de la rue du petit village livres quand vous le désirez . “Suli was brilliant! She arranged our boat transfers, diving excursions, motorbikes and provided us with loads of information. She used to be in the tourism industry so she knows how to treat her guests. Suli really made for a seamless journey and we dearly thank her for this! Upon arrival we were welcomed with cool fresh coconut drink and a big fruit platter! The home worked perfectly for us! We were 2 families and the rooms with the shared bathroom was perfect for our friends who have 2 smaller children. We are a family of 3 and stayed in the room at the end in which Suli arranged an extra bed for. Julie and Jacques live here whenever possible so follows the ethos of airbnb and as a result all the amenities you need (she even let us use the condiments in the fridge!!). Great adult and kid DVD collection as well, which was nice when you needed an hour or two of peace. Danny would come and clean everyday and would even get our laundry done for us (thank you Danny…we’re a bit lazy on holiday!!). Location was very central…everything you need was outside your door and the beach was just around the corner. “Danny and Suli (housekeeper) were all genuinely lovely and accommodating. Prior to arrival, Suli was very helpful in helping us with a couple of baby things and guiding us on the best transfer from Sanur. Villa Lotus Lembongan itself is newly built, well designed, and very comfortable. We did joke prior to arrival that since the owners are travel photographers they may have photoshopped the pictures, but they are accurate and speak for themselves. The villa location is excellent. It’s walking distance to most things. Tigerlillys next door is good for a quick bite, two convenience stores across the road, a laundry next door, plenty of warungs, coffee at Eco Deli, and Micky’s sports bar has cold Bintang and shows all the Waratahs rugby games live (along with other sports). If you venture further afield, like Hai Tide at Mushroom Bay or Sandy Bay Beach Club, most places provide a free pick-up/drop-off service. It was a nice touch that they gave us a local mobile phone on arrival so we could call these places to arrange transport. Suli cooked us a fantastic breakfast every morning and has such a warm nature that the kids took an immediate liking to her, and still a week after being back at home, my three year old daughter keeps asking when we are going to see her again. It is in the heart of the village so it is a short walk to many great restaurants and the beach. The rooms in the villa were gorgeous and spacious with beautiful bedsheets, mosquito nets and fluffy towels in the bathroom. We particularly enjoyed the pool as the water has very low chlorine levels which makes it great for a dip after a long day of exploring. “We spent 3 nights at Villa Lotus Lembongan and fell in love with its beauty as soon as we arrived. It’s very centrally located (walking distance to the beach, to many restaurants, shops, etc.), yet still perfect for relaxing and getting a rest. The villa’s beautiful architecture and furniture impressed us a lot – we especially loved the super stylish bathroom! In the evening, we enjoyed cooling off in the swimming pool. “My wife and I invited a couple of friends over to a weekend in Lembongan. We all stayed at Villa Lotus Lembongan and had a great time. The place is very spacious, has a private pool and kitchen. The rooms are air-conditioned, have a private bathroom and a very cost bed 😉 The entire interior is brand new and top quality. But hey, how cares about these thing. There are one bazillion villas in the world that are good. But what makes this place special is the owing couple and the staff. The staff was super well organised, friendly and helpful. They arranged a speed boat shuttle for us, motorcycle rental and also had good recommendations on where to go. The balinese woman who is in charge of the service was so sweet. She comes in the morning, makes breakfast and takes care that the place is tidy. I don’t need too many words… Just book the place and you can experience it by yourself. “My family and I just left the tranquil Nusa Lembongan island after a 5 day stay at the beautiful Villa Lotus. The villa was modern, beautifully kept and cleaned every day. The 3 bedrooms were well designed and appointed, spacious and air-conditioned (or fan) with comfortable beds. Suli, the private housekeeper/cook came from 7am-3pm daily and catered to all our needs. Suli always went an extra mile to help – and never without a smile! Suli will shop for you, make you meals, do your washing and more. We had everything we needed; plenty of space, modern kitchen facilities, cleanliness, a clean full size pool. You only had to take a step outside to be among restaurants, shops and the beach is only a few minutes walk away. We hired a scooter (hire company is only a few meters away from the front door) to get a feel of the majestic island.
